Faced with stigma and ostracization many child victims of rape drop out from school and live a life of shame and guilt. Providing them education at a location which is far away from their families is one way to help them recover in a non-judgmental space. Till class 5, children are rehabilitated in our Astha Nivas centre and from class 6 to intermediate they are enrolled in different schools. The donation will support one victim’s total education for the entire year including fees, books, uniform, boarding and lodging. Tuition fees – Rs. 10,000 Books – Rs. 2,000 Uniform – Rs. 1,000 Boarding & lodging – Rs. 12,000 Total Cost – Rs. 25,000 p.a. per student Total Cost for 6 months – Rs. 12,500 per student
